We are currently accepting expressions of interest from Chemical / Metallurgical Process Engineers with varying degrees of experience within the Uranium sector for up and coming Uranium Projects based in South Australia and Western Australia
Chemical / Metallurgical Process Engineers
Ideally you will have a Qualified Metallurgist or Chemical Engineer degree or equivalent with
5 to 10 years plus experience and be able to demonstrate knowledge of equipment common to a continuous chemical and or processing plant within the Uranium sector is mandatory, Your proven problem solving abilities, people skills, results orientation and commitment to “best practice” will assure your success.
The successful candidates will be part of a team working on a large uranium project based in South Australia. You will be actively involved in the process design including; development of flowsheets, extraction methodologies, P&IDs mass and energy balances, design criteria, control philosophy and operating procedures and costing.
The scope of work will include but is not limited to the following;
Engineering design of process plants as part of a multi-disciplined design team;
Mentoring of Engineers and Technical personnel within the team as and when required
Close liaison with all the other Engineering disciplines
Review and approval of project design drawings;
Preparation of feasibility studies for Process and Pilot Plants;
Liaison with other engineering disciplines during the preparation of engineering designs and feasibility studies;
A high level of written and verbal communication skills together with an ability to build and develop strong working relationships will be highly regarded.
