The Senior Finance/Operations Officers (SFOOs) share overall responsibility with the Finance and Operations Team Leader for the successful financial and operational support of CLM overhead and direct project activities. S/he collaborates with the Center Director, Project Directors, Deputy Directors, and Team Leaders in assuring effective implementation of technical activities within the context of MSH and Project financial, contractual and operating systems, contract/cooperative agreement requirements, and USAID and other donor regulations. The Senior Finance/Operations Officers are aware of, and adhere to, MSH’s procurement integrity standards in all activities.

QUALIFICATIONS
- Master’s degree in business administration, accounting or similar field preferred, equivalent relevant experience will be considered.
- Expert computer skills including extensive experience working with MS Office applications for spreadsheet, database and word processing. Familiarity with accounting software, particularly Solomon or Quickbooks, Serenic Navigator a plus.
- Previous managerial and supervisory experience; demonstrated success in working collegially toward the achievement of program objectives.
- Prior work experience including exposure to aspects of federal cost reimbursement practices, such as the Federal Acquisitions Regulations (FAR) and USAID Regulations, highly desirable.
- Independently motivated, but also able to work closely and collaboratively as a member of a highly interdependent team. Ability to make sound decisions and provide leadership.
- Verbal and written language skills in English required. Ability to speak a second language required; French or Spanish preferred.
- Ability to travel up to 20% time
